I would recommend this class to everyone who wants to take a challenging but extremely profound class. I was amazed to see her ability to express herself and the way she connected the gospel to every facet of history. She is fair and very generous to those who do what is asked. It is not that hard to do well..she spells it out very clearly in the syllabus. In addition, when I was involved in her class there was a TA that held many review sessions and even offered to edit papers. You'll learn a lot and be better for it.

for a g.e., she made this class exceptionally hard. also grades projects unfairly- if you make the same mistake more than once (ex., grammatical error), you get points off for each instance. i got an a, but it wasn't worth the stress and work

She's scary when exam time rolls around, but the sheer volume of things you learn makes up for the terror. This is not a teacher to take if you want an easy A. She'll challenge you every step of the way, but she's generous with people who really try.
