Dave Pomeroy is a funny, jovial professor who is well versed in micro/macro economics. His teaching manner lends itself well to the adult learner. While trying to make the topic more interesting, he was still able to achieve the course objectives. His tests were fair and he provided a chance to discuss the answers. In some cases, students were able to successfully argue that more than one answer was valid and grades were adjusted accordingly.
During breaks and before classes, Professor Pomeroy would show drawings of his climbs to the highpoints of each of the 50 states. Sharing his experiences made for an enjoyable setting and he was always approachable.
Additionally, he created a website with sample questions and a glossary of terms that was helpful during the review for the tests.
Nice guy, I would recommend him to others.
