This class is one of the most useful and applicable classes that I've taken in awhile. The readings are fresh and interesting and you can see the ideas behind them working in everyday life as well as in the media. This class got me thinking about the way the media perpetuates gender stereotypes and why they are helpful to a certain extent but how they can also be extremely hurtful and overbearing. I'd say this class should be a requirement in order to graduate, just like math and english.
