Going in, I didn't expect much. Withdrawing from the course with another professor a semester ago with math being my weakest subject made the class discouraging.

Thankfully this time the course turned out to be pretty good. Even though I suck at math the problems were all explained clearly. Professor Soorapanth teaches at a good pace and it helped me retain a lot more of the stuff then otherwise. Professor Soorapanth is really good at making sure her students get it and if most people understand the material we doesn't spend extra time going over it, if people are having trouble with the material then we spend more time on it. I don't always get these things right away so I feel like I was pretty lucky to find a math class that worked for me, especially when some classes go so fast it's more about a schedule then the students...

We'd even do examples in class which helped me sooooooooooo much! After most of the problems were explained we'd do a similar one in class! So if anyone had difficulty we'd know and be able to get through it in class rather then running into any snags cramming the day before the exam.

This is a great professor to take if you're looking for a math class that's down to earth with the students in mind, you'll learn the material and maybe hate math a little less. (Maybe)
