The only reason I'm still doing physics!

If you are a physics major, be sure to take a class with McCann. I was introduced to Professor McCann in Physics 220. In this course, we learned how to use Mathematica and a little pinch of Matlab. Mathematica is VERY powerful and WILL help you in ALL of your physics classes and math classes. McCann always has handouts available and is very concise when lecturing. Even if you dislike computer programming, Mathematica is very helpful, especially when McCann is teaching.

Every lecture, we went over a different feature of Mathematica and how it is related to physics. For example, we learned about differential equations and used the features in Mathematica to arrive at very fundamental equations that we all know and love. No final in this course, but a homework assignment every week. Homework assignments are very interesting and will help you learn physics. Actually, while I was taking Physics 220, I was also taking Physics 224. He spent about two weeks going over stuff we went over in Physics 224 (wave/Fourier analysis) and made it even more clear.

Also, for those taking differential equations, this class is a must. I used my knowledge I learned from McCann in Mathematica to do my final project for my differential equations class.
