You may hate him, you may love him but you will definitely appreciate him! I have taken many science classes and I must say that this is one of the most interesting, yet challenging classes I've taken. His style may be intimidating- everything is based off lectures and research essays/papers. You may spend 2 weeks on his take-home exams but if you are a science or nursing major, his requirements prepare you for what is expected of you in the future. He is straight forward about the take home essays but I will admit that he docks off for minor details so no slacking in his class. Actually, for any slackers out there, I advise you not waste your time! If you're like me, science does not come easy. This isn't the type of subject you want to put on the back burner. Step into this class knowing that you will be challenged day in and day out and you will notice how much you know about microbiology and might even enjoy it.
