The fastest way to destroy your 'A' average is to take a class with Alan. Don't take my word for it, go take a look at the final grade postings for some of his classes.

Alan's method of testing ones knowledge is not one that I would recommend. All the questions for the exams are given on his coarse outline. Before you get too excited, keep reading... When exam time comes the questions are numbered, put in a hat, the one that is drawn out is the one you write an essay on. Many see the problem with his method...sure wish Alan did. Further, there is a lot of new terminology in Sociological Theory that is not taught at the lower levels. No attempt is made to test your level of understanding of the new terminology. Alan abhors the idea of multiple choice, so you will not find it in his class.

Alan is a good speaker and has quit the impressive career record. Alan brings a lot of experience to the class room and is willing to share his knowledge with you.
