Steve takes an unorthodox approach to teaching English literature. If your looking for a fluffy and beautiful look inside literature, while he stands infront of the class delivering sweet sonets, this coarse is not for you. Steve will tell you that the first day of class and he may even throw in some colorful words to weed out the, shall we say, 'thin skinned'.
Steve loves his job and is passionate in his teaching. Steve is on a mission to teach the student something besides literature...you'll have to take the coarse in order to find out!
A word to the wise. No matter how good you may think your English skills are, the chances are you will receive your first paper back looking like someone bleed red ink all over it.
Steve is highly educated and the coarse may appear to way beyond that of an introductory literature class. Do not let that discourage you. If you need the extra help, Steve is very approachable and will always go the extra mile. You can usually find Steve nestled away in his office playing on the computer or induling in his favorite dessert.
