Raymond Rusk

Except for a couple of problem students, there was good communication between instructor and students. Raymond was very helpful and obviously enjoyed teaching and helping us understand concepts. Some students were overly concerned with the weekly quizzes but since they did not contribute to the final grade unless they improved the final mark, I don't understand this concern.

The course was very demanding and technical but I found Raymond to be a good teacher. He went out of his way to answer questions sent via email, he was very knowledgeable about course material and his quizzes were an excellent learning tool

Lectures were very boring, but I can't offer any advice on how to make such boring content more fun... Never heard of, or experienced anything REMOTELY close to "verbally abusive" behaviour, I found he answered my questions no matter how dumb or off topic they were..THis was definately not how I would prefer to learn, but I can really drum up a way that I would enjoy learning the majority of the dry content

I would like to write a rebrutal to the previous two evaluations. First off the class was based around old technology. But the fundamentals are still used today. Secondly Dr Rusk was available on multiple morning for help if you had bothered to get up that early, or if you had talked to him after class which I did a few times. Also his tests were fair if reading was completed. And overall I would take another class from him, he was better then Math 162 with Betty Miller :)
