Georges is, like we say here, "un bon vieux crisse", and a misunderstood mad scientist. He began studying electronics before your grandmother was born, and is definitely a master of his field. He's the big boss of this ELE2301 course : he's doing it all without the help of any other teachers or lab assistants. The problem is that he doesn't seem to realize that computer engineering students don't already have a Ph.D in microelectronics before taking this mandatory course; the labs assignments are way too long to handle (I spent more than 15 hours weekly just to try doing them) and we have no real clue about what's going on (it's all inside Georgy's head.) I feel I wasted my time doing this course, I'd been better off taking two 3-credit courses from the EE department and actually understanding the concepts and get these credited in place of Georges' 4-credit course.
