Orbie Ingersoll is by far the best Professor I ever had. He took the course Music Appreciation and turned it into an art form. He is truly brilliant!!! After each class session I would feel such emotions I never knew I had in me. The way he introduced each piece of music by articulating each composers lives touched my heart. I will never be able to listen to music without feeling some kind of an emotional connection to the piece of music. It is difficult to explain Professor Ingersoll s lectures in writing. You have to take his Music Appreciation class to actually experience the course, and you will never take life and the arts for granted. He has changed my life forever. After all these years my friends and I still talk about Professor Ingersolls lectures, and how there will never be another music teacher like him. We feel very lucky and blessed to have had the chance to take his Music Appreciation class. Take his class now, before he retires.
