As a first time teacher his enthusiasm and interest translated into extremely tough assignments and exams. Ability to explain subtler nuances which usually are important in numerical methods was slightly hindered by the fact that the class was heterogeneous in its understanding capabilities.

Overall it was a nice experience taking the course and probably a safer bet than trying to satisfy the Math requirement for research by going to the Maths Dept!
