Diane Goodell

If I could give Dianne an A+++, I would! She was one of my two absolute favorite instructors, ever! For people intereeested in social work (counseling and other human service aspects), she is an excellent teacher and I can't say enough about her! In class, which became rather emotional at times, my fellow students felt so comfortable with Dianne that we, at many times throughout the semester, poured out our life experiences without the possibility of being ridiculed or made fun of. We did a couple projects, mainly to expand your portfolio if you decided to stick with it. I must point out that this was only an intro course and that Dianne pointed out that, if you decide to stick with it, the rest of the course would not be as personally based as the intro. I myself decided not to continue along that route, but it was definately NOT because of Dianne... I have since transferred to the University of Delaware, and I must say that none of my instructors so far are as fun-loving and as great a teacher as Dianne Goodell. It was indeed a blessing to have her as an instructor, and if anyone's thinking about HST, she is an excellent instructor!
