Mike Egan is not really a teacher at this school. He started with us three years ago when the department begain. The only reason why he was given a teaching position was because the former head of the department liked him and gave him a teaching job there. Back in 3December convention hosted by A|W in Miami, he was listed as having been in the animation working field for six years now. This information was incorrect for two reasons. The first reason he started his education in this field three years ago. Putting him at age 20. The second reason, if he has been working for three prior to his college education years in this field, that would have put him in High School which barely anyone gets hired in this field while still in high school.
This false information was submitted by the former head of the department in the hopes of helping him out to get a job in this field.
One of the requirements for teaching this is a MFA degree, which he currently does not have. He isn't even suppose to be teaching those in the MFA class without the degree, but never the less he is.
