James Kaikobad

If you want to be a thorough mental health counselor, enroll in any of Dr. Kaikobad's classes. Dr. Kaikobad challenges you to know your DSM-IV criteria as well as the terms and techniques associated with psychotherapy. DSM-IV assessment will be emphasized. He also shares many clinical examples from his own experiences. I've never encountered a lot of "homework", but you will be required to think and actively participate in class. I can say that Dr. Kaikobad teaches probably the most productive classes that I've had at the Center for Psychological Studies at Nova Southeastern University.
