Although the general opinion of Dr. L was quite negative, I believe it has nothing to do with how he teaches or exams. The problem, I believe, is that the majority of the students either can't follow the material or don't want to study. His exams can be very detailed-oriented, but that can be picked up after taking his first exam. Also, if you have a problem, there are ways of getting outside "help." IT takes a bit of effort to receive an A, but it definitely is possible----and i'm not a genius.

If he just realized that students don't have 1 GHz proceessor and a 50 gig hard drive in their brains, and to actually teach the students and not just dictate the material, then I would not take time out of my busy schedulae to mess with this review. But, he just pisses me off how he doesn't give a damn about his students and make his tests ridiculously hard. I've taken him for two semesters so far,(I had no other choice) and I find at times that some of the material on the test comes from a small paragraph in the middle of the chapter, something that nobody would be able to remember unless they are a genius or have a hard drive implanted in thier heads. Basically, HE SUCKS and I wouldn't suggest for anybody take his classes if they are worried about med school!
