A really great teacher.

I was not looking forward to taking Anthropology but Weirong Cai made the subject very interesting. She is very prompt and very through in her lectures. If you come to class and keep up with the lectures and the reading assignments there is really no way to get a poor grade from her. She is alway available during her office hours and is so easy to talk to. She is an excellent instructor and I would recommed her class.

Best Anthro class to take at Leeward!

Her leactures can be a bit boring, but that's because she's on the quieter side. If you really listen to them they're quite interesting. For this class in particular really study the study guide because it does help out a lot for the test. And she also likes it when you participate in class. Overall, if you show up to class on a regular basis it can be a very interesting class.

A likeable teacher.

Weirong Cai is one of my likeable teachers. When I enrolled for her class (Anth200), I thought it would be one of those boring history/social studies classes. But it wasn't what I expected. Although the class was more of a lecture class, the things that she talked about were really interesting. Maybe it was the way she told the story or maybe the story itself was interesting. Either way, I enjoyed listening to her. She knew all the stuff that we had to learn in that class very well. She always came to class prepared, on time, and enthusiastic about all the stuff that she talked about. When it comes to grading people's work, she's always fair, and as long as she knows that you're doing your best, you can assure yourself of a good deserving grade.

I would recommend her to everybody who is taking Anthropology classes. She's one good teacher.
