Prof. Joe is a great teacher. He is annimated, entertaining, interesting, and funnny. I have really enjoyed his class and have learned a lot about the religons in the world in a unbiased way. His tests are take home essays. His midterm and final is part done at home and part done in class with open book and notes...all essays. He is big on attendance, so you must attend most classes or your grade will go down.

This is one class that I don't fall asleep in. Mr. Chernisky is so lively, loud at times, and also very funny. The text book for the class sucks as hell. It's so hard to understand. When Mr. Chernisky tries to explain it in his own words, he's hard to understand as well. He's always willing to help you when you need it. He has 4 writing assignments and two exams. All essay form. His exams is one at-home essay, and one in-class essay. The topics for the essays are very confusing at times. Overall, he's a cool teacher, and fairly easy grader. He does take attendance everyday. I think as long as you participate, do the work, come to class everyday, and show that you are trying, then you should be fine in his class.
