Momi Kamahele

There is no doubt in anyone's mind who has ever had Kumu Momi Kamahele as a teacher that she's very knowledgeable about her subjects. She's enthusiastic and passionate about her subject and teaching. She will challenge you to think outside the box, to look at things from a different perspective. Students taking her classes will end up writing a lot but it will help the student become more proficient and their critical and anlytical thinking skills will become more polished. Kumu Momi Kamahele is worth having as a teacher. She is a damn good teacher!

Momi Kamahele loves her subject. That is what makes her class enjoyable. Her tests and exams are simple if you go to class and LISTEN. Sometimes her lectures can get a little boring, but she does try her best to make the class fun. She is the only Hawaiian Studies teacher so you don't really have a choice. Even so, I would have taken her anyway.
