Eric Matsuoka

Just to give anyone who has not taken a class from Professor Matsuoka a different view point, I absolutely enjoyed his classes. I took both Math 100 and 115 and never had a problem with the instructor or the material. Not only that, Professor Matsuoka was very helpful in helping me decide if math was the right major for me. He does have a dry sense of humor but if you understand that he likes to joke around, there is no need to dislike his class. As far as his exams go, some are TAKE HOME!!! Of course he is not going to make them easy. I guess some students just want things handed to them. His in class exams completely follow his lecture, in order! I have even seen several questions on my exams that we went over in class!!! If you pay attention, you SHOULD get an A. I have a feeling that many students dislike Math and therefore dislike an instructor that is actually going to make you work for your grade. I highly recommend Professor Matsuoka. I only wish he taught more classes at LCC!
