David Courtaway

This class would be fine, except for the blatant favorism of certain groups. Within 2 weeks of starting the class, you will know exactly who has a chance to win best project and who doesn't have a shot in the dark. I had some friends go all out on their project, but I already know that they won't win....it's going to one of Courtaway's "pets". Even the projects are rated based on group size, not difficulty. My group went from 5 people to 2 without switching the poject, and my project's approval rating went from "great" to "too easy".

On top of that, there is way too much extra paperwork that Courtaway demands of you that no real boss would ever ask for. Project summary paper? study phase report? Please. If you just want to do your project with very little hassle and none of the BS politics, take the other Senior Project class, even though the professor will dissuade you from doing so.
