Deluca may know his stuff, but his stuff is things we don't need. I didn't fill out the personality factor because I didn't want to make this personal. Deluca teaches JCL... take Hector and learn something you'll need in the future... PERL. Too bad Hector is deceased now... I would have taken him. Hector just teaches you the basic commands in UNIX (it's like DOS all over again), and there is more than one way to answer them... Deluca want's a specific answer.

The exams were pretty good. In class you get two choice for assignments one is for students who are slow and need professor guidance and other half for advanced students. The advanced had good challenges and i was able to create cool programs. The exams were divided accordingly. The test were excellently made, the professor would know if you were doing the homework assignments or not because the test are based on them.

Professor Deluca is best for database classes. You will learn SQL, PL/SQL, SQL *PLUS, Forms, scripts, cursors, triggers, and many other database concepts. He demonstrates his database knowledge through a computer on wheels (COW). So its easy to follow. If you ask a stupid question, you might get insulted in front of everyone. Other than that excellent teacher. I would recommend for both the database classes.
