S. Djata

Professor Djata was a great teacher and taught me a lot. I think the other review of him was ridiculous and untrue. Just because you get a bad grade in the class doesn't mean you take it out on the teacher. It is your own responsibility. Every teacher at NIU is different, but they are all the same in that they work to help the student, if you make the effort!!! To the other poster, next time you take a class, realize that it is you that has the attitude. Don't take it out on Professor Djata by publicly posting your stupid and immature comments.

djata, Is a comeplete asshole. He comes to class witha an attitude everyday. He has the habit of kicking his students out of class, Because he feels they didn't read enough. His exams are irrelevant to the material presented in class. He picks favorites and lowers the self-esteem of students that he does not like. If you answer a question in his class instead of giving you encouragement he says "if that is what you think." He feels his students should not see him during his office hours unless he considers it to be of importance. He beleives that no student in his class deserves an "A" because they should have not taken the class because they already knew the material. His grading scale is fucked up. An thats the Truth
