Interested in learning about mainframes??? Take him!
I know it sounds nutty, but this guy was one of the best professors I ever had. Don't take him if you don't want to be pushed, because you will. He DOES know what he is talking about and like Dr. Phil, "He tells it like it is."
So if you want a simulation of what the real world is like, and it ain't like the MTV show, take him. Just be sure to allot PLENTY of time to his courses...

I would take him again in a second.
He made me learn the material, and not just to pass the test like most classes. I didn't even need his class to graduate. It was my favorite class in college. I even brought a friend to one of his lectures.
