Frederickson knows Algorithms
Frederickson is the prototypical college professor: he doesn't like to go into a lot of detail in class, has pretty bad handwriting and a strange sense of humor. This is bolstered by the fact that he loves the topic (especially graph theory), and this genuinely shows through in his lectures.
His homeworks are typically more theory oriented (solving a common problem on your own), while his tests are more application oriented (take a given algorithm and modify it to best fit a situation).
