The Human Calculator
Professor Kruger has been a mathematics professor at Tri-State for over 40 years, and it shows. The man is a human calulator, and displays an almost genius-like quality when he solves problems that we may have spent hours on effortlessly. Both his acceptance (although he makes fun of us everytime we get them out to add 7+9) of CAS calculators as valuble tools in the classroom (i.e. the TI-89), his system of partial and fair grading on exams and quizes, and his easy-to-understand lectures make him a fine professor who I recommend to anyone taking Calculus I at Tri-State.
