You must have a STRONG individual work ethic, and a strong background in algebra and vector calculus. Phil is extremely intelligent, and assumes all of his students are at the same level as he. Projects were long and tedious, and he is incredibly particular about wording in answers. Exams were useless, he only gave two in the entire semester, and they weren't easy by any means! Homework is the highest part of the grade, expect to work your butt off.

Pleasant,courteous guy. Good personality. Expects students to have THOROUGH grasp of Algebra. Assumes an interest and enthusiasm for Pre-Calc. Homework assignments are difficult and time consuming. Requires 1 lab per week. Difficult teacher for disinterested or slow math students.
