Cure for Insomnia

This class was without a doubt the most boring and worthless experience I've had at the college level. After leaving this class I would feel as if I hadn't gotten any sleep the night before for the rest of the day. This is because of the way Mr. Brathwaite conducted the class. He would tell us to read material and no one would do it so we'd read out of the book during classtime. He would ask questions and call on whoever made eye contact with him, by the end of the semester everyone had their heads down the whole time. The papers were typical fare for an English class but we didn't get much assistance in writing them during class. He has a thick accent that makes it a bit difficult to understand but his handwriting is practically illegible and the papers come back clean as they were handed in, no feedback just a grade. The midterm and exam were in class essays that were announced beforehand so it was fairly simple, but take my advice and find a different teacher. It simply isn't worth the total disruption of motivation to do anything you walk out with.
