Paulette Comet

CINS101 is boretown for anyone who has used a computer before such as me. Ms. Comet tried her best to make it interesting and take out the petty annoyances typical to classes like this. There was homework in the form of projects but these could be easily completed in class if you didn't run off the moment you finished the day's work in the computer lab portion of the class. Ms. Comet even cut out a couple of the projects listed on the syllabus. She was very open to student questions and very helpful in assisting those who had problems. The midterm involved some pretty basic multiple choice, fill in the blanks on things like 'name an input device,' and explanations of how to do things such as separating toolbars in microsoft word. The final was about 30 multiple choice on a scantron and half the questions from the midterm, I finished it in under 10 minutes. If you need to take this class taking Ms. Comet will be a pain/stressless and informative experience.
