I, like most people, am anxious about speaking in front of others. I had a remarkably easy time with Mr. Midura who made getting through one of the most feared requirements a piece of cake. The course required various in class activities related to speaking along with 4 major speeches which had to be 4-5 minutes each. We were required to have an outline and allowed to speak with it but not allowed to write out our speech. The grading scale bottoms out at a 6/10 which means as long as you give it you aren't going to fail. The exams were based on highlighted material in the book and weren't difficult at all. Mr. Midura understands that no one really wants to be there but he takes a drab subject and imports a great understanding of it. He is an excellent speaker and this keeps the class interesting throughout, if you want to lessen the stress take him.
