Medical Transcription I is a self-paced class. Students have to complete about 50 transcriptions over the course of the semester. The early ones are short and easy while the later ones are considerably longer and more difficult. Completing all the transcriptions is not hard, but doing so with sufficient accuracy to get an A is more challenging.

Ms. Fiore is a friendly teacher who returns assignments quickly. The format of this class doesn't include a lecture. She is in the classroom while students work, though, and is quite willing to answer questions and show students how to use the transcription machines.
